I believe fitness and health should be simple. Easy? No, not always. But definitely simple. As a full time working mom, I don’t believe in complicated solutions. I believe in finding joy, consistency and realistic transformation when it comes to your wellness.

I’ve spent the last 9 years as a certified personal trainer, group fitness trainer, and a pregnancy/postpartum specialist. And after years of digital self-paced programs and 1:1 in-person training, I’m so happy to expand my offering to now include 1:1 virtual training.

WHAT DOES VIRTUAL TRAINING ENTAIL?

Virtual personal training is a way for you to receive individualized workout programming and lifestyle support, but still have enough flexibility to workout on your own time and live life on your terms.

I build individualized workout plans tailored specifically to your goals and needs to allow you to become the strongest, most capable version of yourself. You’ll complete the weekly workouts on your own and will receive in-depth form review feedback and personalized guidance to help keep you safe, accountable and on-track with your progress.

You’ll get direct messaging access to me to ask questions as well as have live virtual check-ins to discuss any hiccups along the way (and to celebrate every single win because that’s important too!).

With over a decade of experience in the health and wellness industry and a global online community, Britany blends science, strategy, and empathy to help busy moms, working professionals and women across the globe reconnect to their bodies, achieve their goals and find a work/life balance that lasts.

FAQs

  • Britany can tailor your workout program to fit the equipment you have access to. At the minimum, access to an array of dumbbells is required.

    Other great options - barbells, cable machine, smith machine, resistance bands, kettlebells.

  • Workouts will be strength training and mobility based.

    We can also discuss cardio options as part of your routine, but this will not be an endurance-focused program (for example, I can help you mange running and strength training but will not be writing a half marathon training plan for you).

    Customized workouts will not include bespoke barre/pilates routines, but I am happy to include them in your weekly schedule utilizing my existing barre workouts on the Sweat app.

  • Live check-ins are structured to support you in whatever way you need.

    For fitness only coaching, check-ins may include in-depth instruction on upcoming workouts, discussing form or questions about equipment or exercise execution or simply accountability!

    For lifestyle coaching, these check-ins will include everything in the fitness-only check ins but also will be an opportunity to discuss healthy habits such as your nutrition, daily movement, sleep, work/life balance and your progress towards your overall health and wellness goals.

    Check ins will be 30 or 60 minutes, 1-4x a month depending on your needs and always can be adjusted throughout our time together to fit whatever is best for your schedule.

  • Simply put, my personal training is PERSONAL. You’ll get workout programs customized to your body, your goals, your real life.

    Membership to the Sweat app is still highly encouraged, especially during times you may be traveling, need quick workouts, or are looking more for more workouts.

    But overall, personal training is higher-touch direct work with Britany customized to fit your needs.

  • INJURY

    Yes I am a fitness trainer, but I am not a physical therapist nor a medical professional. If you’re injured or in the process of rehabbing an injury, I recommend working with a PT or medical professional before applying for my 1:1 personal training.

    With that said, we all have the usual aches and pains. I can certainly work around and honor that. But if you are actively injured, please know this may not be the best option for you.

    PREGNANCY/POSTPARTUM

    As a mom and a certified pregnancy and postpartum corrective specialist, I’d love to work with you, but doctor’s approval will be required. I will also ask that you see a pelvic floor physical therapist during our time together as I believe their work is magical at not only preparing your body for delivery, but in returning to normal every-day function post-delivery.

  • Results take time. This isn’t a get snatched in two weeks kind of deal. This is real, lasting change and real, lasting change takes time.

    The 3 month commitment is a commitment to yourself to put in the time and work to achieve your goals.

    You can pay for 3 months upfront or pay monthly. And look, I’m human too. I’ll be flexible. If you’re traveling, need to pause etc, I can be flexible.

  • No. I will help you craft a nutrition plan and healthy habits that fit your goals and your life, but lifestyle coaching does not include detailed meal planning.
